[5.978]Muting track sends MIDI note-offs when "Do not process muted tracks" unchecked

1. Click Options > Preferences > Audio > Mute/Solo, uncheck "Do not process muted tracks (muted tracks take no CPU time, etc)" and click OK
2. Create any synth virtual instrument on new track
3. Record an 8 bar loop with a single note held down
4. Set loop region to the recorded 8 bar loop and click Play
5. Toggle mute for the track on and off

Expected result:
Note continues playing even after mute if toggled on and off

Actual result:
Note stops playing
