Default Custom click tracks in reaper

Hi guys, so I'm tracking a band that plays very rhythmically complicated music and they want custom click tracks. For example, a regular 4/4 section with quarter or eighth note clicks, followed by a 7/8 section in triplets. Setting up time signature and tempo changes is simple enough, but I don't think its possible to make different grids per section, or even making unusual click tracks with changing accents seems to be a huge pain in the ass. So far I've just made them in MIDI, but I'm curious if its possible to do this native in reaper?

if you right click on the metronome you can make different patterns, then you could go to Insert / Click source and load them into the track at the relevant places (and glue them if needed).

Just stick with midi .. and reasampler or just audio clips ... it is probably quicker just sequencing a ccustom click than to have reapers click track inserted with crazy grid changes per section ..

When you insert a tempo and/or time signature change, the grid following it changes. Are you referring to something else?

You can enter an arbitrary number of signature markers and change the accent pattern at every one. There's a text field where you enter one letter per beat:

A = primary sound
B = secondary sound
T = triplet (plays secondary sound in a triplet pattern for that beat)
. = skip (silence for this beat)
