I cannot reproduce the jumping Evan is experiencing, but I can tell that mousing the swing grid is extremely stepped and not smooth at all over here. It basically has two steps: swing 0% and swing 100%.

Intel Core2Duo 2 GHz
2 GB RAM
Win XP SP2 32-bit
ATi X1650 Pro, latest drivers

While I'm still at non-smooth things, this is still present in 3.66:

What if choosing an FX from the new list floats it if not already floated and brings it to foreground if already floated (instead of unfloating it if it's floated)?

Adam, does value in the textbox change smoothly as well? See my GIF, only 2 values there: 0% and 100%.

Weird on the swing grid jumpiness, can other people please let us know if this is working smoothly or not smoothly for them?

It's completely fine here:

Please tell your computer configuration as well. This could be down to OS/graphics or something.

my quick test:

MIDI Swing Grid grabbing is smooth here on my netPC (dual core MSI laptop, nVidia GFX inside) . i can see the value changing smoothly too.

otoh AUDIO Swing Grid.. well..

we dont have that, so i cant test that. :I
i would LOVE TO, tho.

about Tooltips: could we have the FADES tooltips simplified, like you did on slip content last time, please? i think thats the only LOOONG one left in the tooltips (i use BEATS+Time rulers)

and here i see some weird characters on FX info:

Actually I think we know what the cause of the jerkiness is -- possibly fixing for the next build.

You are all far too civilised. The collaboration between Schwa, Justin et al and Reaper users is an inspiration.

Devs, could you please, in "io" button tooltips, put Received to the RIGHT of Sends, and not ABOVE the sends? This also means that master/parent send line should be ABOVE sends, and MIDI output should be ABOVE receives, as well!

Essentially, the point is to mirror the look of the I/O window, and that one has sends on left, and receives on right. Can it be done for next pre?

The missing minimize function really bugged me yesterday as I had to render a lot of files and today, without saying a word, I find this feature added to the next version.

How do you do that? This is scary.

Very polished look and feel. This will add some workflow speed! Thank you!
