Default move or shift all regions? [SEMI SOLVED]

Is there such a script or could there be?

It would operate on all regions and move them X number of bars left or right

...or maybe instead of bars it would be by grid divisions?
IF by grid, then the grid can be temporarily set up as wanted...

Is a lua like that possible?

IF yes we could talk about options for it further... thanks much for your thoughts

This might be a workaround, but worth a shot.

Create time selection. Insert empty space, will move everything to the right.

There’s an action to do the opposite, but I forgot the keyword.

good idea I'll try that while waiting for a script to come along...

EDIT: Ok that is workable with this action:

Time selection: Insert empty space at time selection (moving later items)

...geeez what english is that? "moving later items"...

there is another that works also:
Script:js_Time selection - insert empty beats at time selection (moving later items).lua

hahaha more strange english... rather see "moving items later"
