Default Learning how to EQ properly for the first time. Suggestions of videos to watch?

The next thing in my music making is to learning how to properly EQ

I am a visual learner, meaning watching videos where I can see what the instructor is doing is the way I learn best.

At this point I know nothing about the proper way to EQ and have just been 'button mashing' as one guy on YouTube calls it by just starting to adjust different things in an EQ pklugin having no real idea what I'm doing....

Can anyone please suggest a video(s) that are for total newbies that can begin to teach me what I need to know on the subject?

If so I would be grateful.

Hey, Kenny:

Thanks for this. And, BTW, just to let you know, I spend lots of hours watching your videos and as a newbie I have learned so much about Reaper from you!

What I like the most is that you pick a very focused, specific topic and give simple, straight forward instruction.

Thanks so much!

I would recommend whenever you have the time, just watch his videos even in order from the beginning, whether you think the topic applies to you or not. It seems that every time I watch one of his videos, I find myself learning something even if I thought I knew where the video was going to go and that it was too simple for me to be bothering with.
