Default envelope points in and out of time selection... bug or a feature?

hi,

version 5.77

trying to move just one "take item pitch envelope" node, but can't move just one without others around it moving as well, if the envelope points are in the time selection. thought it was just user error, so i used the marquee function to select just one node, and the same behavior of the other nodes moving still seems to persist. is this a bug or a feature where nodes within the time selection are locked in relative positions, aka move one, the rest of them move too, if these envelope point nodes are within the time selection.

bug or a feature?

- Goto menu Options > Envelope Points > Envelope point selection follows time selection;
You problaby have this setting turned on (ticked).

- Also check this video, it might enlighten you :

thanks!

don't know how that option got selected, maybe it's by default. i definitely need to spend some time someday to learn about what good it would serve, it escapes me why someone grabbing an envelope point would want certain other envelope points to move with it.
