Default WDL-OL : Issues with 1-frame button ?

Hi,

in a Plugin I have a Parameter (BUTTON) which value goes from min=0 to max=1.

Currently I assigned it to a GUI element (a button, pressing it once makes it =1 , pressing again assigns it =0 , and so on... 0,1,0,1...). This GUI elemnt has ONE FRAME ONLY (pressing it changes the value but not the GUI/animation side, since it has 1 frame only).

Everything seems to work PRETTY FINE. Is it possible that on different systems it has an unexpected behaviour?

This button acts as a "load next preset". Some users reported that pressing it once, advances 2 presets instead of one only. Could that be the cause? Anyone had similar experiences?

The issue seems to happen only on some Users systems but not in others...

As always thank you in advance for any feedback/help

It may be related to the way mValue of your control changes. Say, if it's a switch, things can happen twice, OnMouseDown and OnMouseUp.

Hi 1eqinfinity,

thank you for your reply but it seems to be related to the VST3 plugin format only. All kind of IPlug "button controls" work fine when compiled as VST2 and AU. But only when compiled as VST3, clicking once shows the same behaviour as clicking two times...
