Default Sine Wave Volume Envelope

Is there currently a way to create a volume envelope like a sine wave with smooth sweeping curves ?

If not, would love Reaper to have some method of adding mathematical expressions to a track a bit like After Effects expressions - Example on YouTube "Math.sin - Adobe After Effects Expression"

Thanks

Could be achieved in different ways, one being using the SWS LFO generator. You need to install SWS extentions, make a time selection on your project, with the size you want to apply the curves and open the LFO generator with the volume automation of the track selected. Then generate the curve you want.

Crikey, that worked a treat.
Don't know what I would do without Reaper.

Thanks very much

Welcome to the Reaper Forums !

Why not use ReaPack -> ReaRack which is a very advanced modular synth that can - of course - do that in very high quality (e.g. with high resolution modulation and avoiding aliasing).

I've not looked into ReaPack - can it make a smooth Volume envelope like a sine wave ?
Thanks

You mean ReaRack.

Its like an modular analogue synth.

It has (Sine) oscillators and it has modulator modules (i.e.multiplier) and a lot other stuff that can be used freely, so it can modulate any signal by a sine.

BTW, even without SWS Extensions installed, so I mean in plain clean Reaper installation you can achieve the same using "Automation Items".

Create automation item in appropriate envelope lane, open its properties and select LFO type parameters as you desire
