2x16 LCD Display on parallel port ?

Hi,

Going on my own homemade Jesus'Box, I'd like to put a LCD display (ie. 2x16) on parallel port.

I known how to write on it on C, VB and others, but is there a way to do it in Jesusonic ?

I thought about writing infos in a .txt file, and write a program in VB to read this .txt, and then display infos on the LCD.

Then, the last question is : Is there a way to get the whole list of used effets in a preset (at least their name ?), and even the preset name ?

Would be a REALLY GREAT thing for a stand-alone box with no VGA screen (control by foot, and display to LCD )

At least, Could you Justin, add some variables that will contain Bank name (A-Z), Preset Number (0-9), and preset name ?

I promise that if you do, I'll post on my webpage all of the necessary infos about building your own pedals with 2x16 or more LCD display !
