Default How to make Reaper hide floating plugin windows for inactive tracks?

In ableton I use two screens, and when I switch from one track to another ableton shows open plugin for Active track in seperate window/screen. In cubase I can use hot key to inable/open the main instrument of the track. In reaper I need to open it with mouse every time and close again. How to set it up in better way?

Hello Veleev and welcome to these forums. You'll find many helpful people here and a lot of useful information. Make sure that you:
Try these Actions (you will need the SWS Extension):
-- close all floating FX windows,
-- toggle show all floating FX for selected track(s)

If they do what you want then you could build a Custom Action and put it on a toolbar or in a menu. Details are in the User Guide.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean but have you played around with the settings in Preferences > Plug-ins? Maybe something there will help you, like "Only allow one FX chain window open at a time" and "Open track FX window on track selection change" below it?

And AFAIK there's no action in Reaper to just open the VST instument on the selected track. If there was it would have been easy to make it work like in Cubase.
