Default My graphics knob looks ok on Retina.. not on normal screen (checked png sizes)

Hey guys,

I'm trying to change the volume knobs for the TCP and the MCP (Narrow) views. I have it working great on my Retina, and when I exported the assets to the respective root, 150 and 200 size folders, and refreshed on my normal screen mac, I get this:

Notice the weird sized transition from the right edge of the text to the volume knob:

whereas the Retina screen looks like this:

Any idea what I could be doing wrong. I've tried exporting larger and larger images... and it doesn't do anything until it reaches 48x50, then it jumps and becomes an ugly-over sized It's as if the rtconfig file has something to do with constraining until a certain size.

Any ideas?

it looks like the pink and yellow lines in the knob image have been corrupted.
those lines have to be pure yellow or pink and a single pixel line for height and width.

I was just going to post that I think that is what happened.

Thanks again Lucas!

I think I resolved it.

It totally threw me for a loop 😀

Yeah.... I was working off a large version... and Photoshop was antialiasing when shrinking (or some thing... like dithering for visuals ) not sure... but if I start with the original size all is good. I just need to find a good export that won't blur the pink and yellow.

remove the pink and yellow lines.
export the file
add the pink and yellow lines back in.

Yeah... Sadly that may be the only way. I was hoping there would be a cleaner (less tedious) way to do it.

Thanks again lucas!
