a reggae-part like in the Elton John version? it soon will sound like a cover of an Elton John cover of a Beatles cover.

Ah, big bell sounding ...! Yeah, he did a very cool version in the mid 1970's(?) around...? I do like contrasting parts... btw I heard (and saw) Zappa doing Stairway To Heaven Jamaica-style... but best of all, same concert... a note for note/sound for sound rendition of I Am The Walrus - only Lennon's voice was missing.

I was unaware of the EJ version, I guess its a well known ploy to change-up a rhythm part without altering tempo.

Oh well, I see... no, what Morgon posted should be the latest, then... the structure is the same... but go with the latest version, I say, definitely, where you can hear those lovely guitars... this is going to be one great piece of music. With some help from John.

Not downloadable, though. Guess I'll be stickin' w/ the earlier version, to which you sent a link. Maybe by the time I familiarize myself w/ the changes and arrangement, Morgon will re-post a downloadable version.

Yes I'll do that later today, will put my latest with the one Jorgens just posted^^. That one I posted I knew wasnt the latest [just my trks] bc eg it still got the hyper hi-hat, but was informed by Jorgen a while back that it is the final structure/arrangement etc of the song. I didn't want that version escaping into the wild ie public access bc it might get confused with the final version. I'll PM you a link later on today RM.
And soon I'll post the stems to Jorgen, at this stage I'm just tidying a bit of what I've already done, not adding or subtracting anything much, subtractions/alterations of the gtrs are of course still possible, right up until Jorgens ready to do the final mix, critique is welcome.

^^"Works for me."
I only got back an hour ago. Ill DL Jorgens latest rendition and put with my gtr trks, and PM that in the morning, its 1 a.m here. For right now Ill PM a link to the older version.
EDIT]I see that version is 2 months old, prolly the same one I got, no matter, Im sending the stems to Jorgen very soon anyway so the demo phase is nearly over.

Altered ending
Somewhat rounded out that ending part with a few add-ons and improved the scale run at the finish.

Wouldnt say I nailed it but it feels ok, theres a few things more I could go on improving a bit but unnecessary I think, so Ive prolly finished my tracks on this one.
I gotta dig out those 2 gtr solos and repost them, I cant remember if I posted them as stems but theyre obsolete if I did, so I'll post the later improved versions as stems, centre panned.
Probably send them all tomorrow, definitely by Saturday. Its been a bit of a wait, bc if one draft I try doesnt work well, then a bit of time is needed to refresh the approach, you know the drill, cheers.
