Updated to v2.0 RC (use File > Download or Ctrl-S to get the whole thing): http://bit.ly/AD_2_rc
This is a major update, you should get it. If all looks and works right, I will put it on stash in the next days. Enjoy ![]()

It is a psychological... rather I should say psychovisual thing, but I like warmer themes more than those cold metal ones.
Hope to see some more warm themes in near future.

Thanks all for the feedback, here is an update. I guess I underestimated the amount of PNGs and the way to find them
I also want to make vertical vu-meters in the track panel (as soon as i figure out the rtconfig). Last edited by lerian; 04-02-2012 at 12:51 AM. |

Please don't go too dark on the colors, unless your original colors are also available (I like them)!

my reaper theme doesn't have those buttons, and they seem to be from another theme.. maybe they were installed by an add-on?

also replace the toolbar_blank.png file. (its the background for all custom toolbars.)
if the composite overlay doesn't fix the problem.

Gotta try this out. Thanks!
edit: Yeah, would be a nice change of pace if we could get that weirdness around the toolbar buttons fixed.

I love the black mixer version. It keeps focus on the main area. I look foreward to it.

Thanks! Grabbing it now. Really like this. I just prefer this color palette to the 'green shades' of the default. Nice tweak!

Lerian this is perfect.
I also like the black mixer as well. Maybe make a black mixer and tcp version also?

I just added v1.2 with "desaturate" option in Layouts (tcp, mcp, master). I guess it will take a while to finish the black version since i accidentally overwrote it :/ |

This is now my default, but with this update you are heading the wrong way. What happened to the dark mixer. I was digging the concept of darker mixing areas and light working area. Now the difference between the mixer and working areas is less. Pleeease do a dark mixer and 1.1 brightness working area.
Thanks.. warm is good.

If by 1.1 brightness working area are you referring to the track control panel, then you can use it in 1.2 by making the following steps: 1. download this file - https://i.imgur.com/t7bN7.png - and rename it to "tcp_bg.png" 2. rename the Default_Analog_v1.2.ThemeZip to Default_Analog_v1.2.Theme.Zip. Extract the zip, and make sure the Default_Analog_v1.2_unpacked folder and the Default_Analog_v1.2_unpacked.ReaperTheme file are in the "ColorThemes folder" 3. Enter the Default_Analog_v1.2_unpacked folder and make a folder named "v1.1-brightness" 4. Copy the downloaded tcp_bg.png file into "v1.1-brightness" subfolder in Default_Analog_v1.2_unpacked folder 5. Open rtconfig.txt and add the following code (after any "EndLayout" instruction): Layout "- v1.1 brightness" "v1.1-brightness" clear tcp.* set tcp.volume tcp.volume EndLayout 6. Save it, change the theme to "Default_Analog_v1.2_unpacked" and go to Options > Layouts > Track Panel > - v1.1 brightness. Now you should have the v1.1 Brightness and v1.2 tweaks. 7. Make some warm, happy music ![]() The black mixer version.. i overwrote it by mistake when copying the folders and i will have to start it over. I will do it again, but right now i got frustrated on finding theme elements (still searching for the settings to change the arrangement window track colors). Hopefully someone will reply to this thread and i will get over it. Thank you, warm is good for me too
