Default EDL for Reaper

Is there an Edit Decision List that can be exported or genereted by Reaper for archiving mastering projects? And is dither available and if so, what types?

I guess the EDL is the project file.

Dither is via effects on the master track. THE JS dither plugin provides rectangular, triangular and gaussian dither types with noiseshaping on or off. There's also another dither plugin provided with psychoacoustic noise shaping, or there's the mda dither plugins of course (if we're talking freeware).

REAPER will save EDLs in the Vegas format or Samplitude format.

So if I save it as a Vegas type (EDL TXT) through the 'save as' dialogue, what would I expect to see when I open the project in Vegas? Would the tracks be in order and named, and all files in position?
I assume the fx won't load though because of differences?

This is really interesting, as an engineer I have worked with before, and who mixes label stuff very well, uses Vegas primarily...so I could give him an EDL file to do a mix on if this pans out.

Schwa's psychoacoustic dither is EXCELLENT! You must try it if you haven't. It is a standard in my setup now. I like it...

Default Thanks for the heads up.

I plan on replacing Samplitude with Reaper for mastering and use sony cd architect to burn discs. I just needed to make certain the quality was there. Too bad Pow-r dither is not available for Reaper.
