Default Empty wave files crash Reaper (FIXED)

Hi! Can anyone reproduce this? Is it a known Reaper bug?

WAV files containing no data crash Reaper (upon zoom and render). I've attached such a file, it's 44 bytes long with only WAV header inside, no audio data. Other DAWs handle them correctly.

Using Windows 7 x64, Reaper 4.22 x64.

To reproduce:

1. Create a new project, create a new track, insert the file. Depending on zoom level, the newly inserted media item displays incorrectly lasting several beats (it should be a thin vertical line).

2. Zoom in/out on this media item. At some point Reaper should crash with the following report:
Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: APPCRASH
Application Name: reaper.exe
Application Version: 4.2.2.0
Application Timestamp: 4f7dfc37

3. (Run Reaper, create a project, create a track, insert an empty wav file.) Render the entire project. Reaper will crash with the following report:
Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: APPCRASH

Importing needs to be done via Insert -> Media file. Drag'n'drop discards the file.

Media Player Classic and Foobar2000 don't seem to have a "problem" with this file.
