Default 64 bit VST {free} plugins (REVERBS, COMPRESSORS, OTHER)

Could we please have here a list of quality plugs that are working well on the 64bit platform?

I am ready for suggestions.

BTW does anyone know for a 64bit version of the Ambience REVERB FOR Windows?

REVERBS, DELAYS

COMPRESSORS LIMITERS

OTHER MASTERING TOOLS

YOUR SUGGESTED CATEGORY (INSTRUMENTS, SAMPLES, EFFECTS)

I believe Ambience hasn't been updated in several years, I don't think you will find a 64 bit version.

If you go over to kvraudio.com's plugin search, you can specify a search for 64bit and free or paid.

Tim - I tried that on KVR and it didnt do to well.
I am also looking to go all 64bit and as much as possible free or giving $$ to smaller independent developers rather than the "big" ones.

Thanks guys, perhaps I should stress out I wish a list of high quality VST plugs like AMBIENCE.
That is why I am searching for a natural sounding reverb like Ambience for 64bit.
I tried lots of them, but not one sounded that well, even Bricasti true stereo impulses not.
And Kjaerhaus VST as well. I can find them only as 32bit.

A big +` from me. Been there since very early on and these are both excellent.

A certain Well Known Developer who also has a VOx-alike out there gave me a free copy of his version and frankly Tale`s is better.

As much as I love Ambiance, it is no where near the Bricasti True Stereo IR's...not even close!

It all boils down to what YOU like for sure.......

Not free, but the Valhalla reverb plugs are good.

Definitely a small developer and low price, especially for the quality.

The Serina Experiment have released some of my favorite free plugins. Amp and stomp box sims. They come in x64 as well as x86.
http://www.theserinaexperiment.net/

I love the R47, their clone of the Proco RAT. I use it mostly on duplicated bass and vocal tracks for grit and outright distortion.

Azurite by Distorque is a multi-voice chorus that's available for free in x64 too.

Not a chance in hell!

I checked one of the "new" plugs... it was dated 2005.

Thats what I was thinking... I'm going 64bit here soon and would have loved to take my favorite limiter with me

I second that. Great reverb. Much better than Ambience IMO.

And for other free x64 plugins, don't forget G VST.

Never 'Got' the Valhalla vibe at all, he has done nothing i would use right now but he is a very involved developer with a great pricing scheme and protection scheme

I would recommend ReaEQ, ReaComp and ReaDelay. They work and sound better than many expensive plugins. For an algorithmic reverb you might be SOL, but Valhalla Room is nothing short of phenomenal for the price. But then ReaVerb with a good impulse can sound really good.

Noy directly on topic, but tx16w free is the best free general purpose 64 bit sampler out there.
Resamplomatic 5000 is the best straight up 64 bit drum sampler right now.
Sforzando is the best free 64 bit sfz player out there.

All three work without a glitch or a crash and have very economical cpu resources, though that is proportional to the number of samples / layers being used.

some of these are surely re-posts but here's what I'm going with when my 64bit workstation is up and running:

Drums:
DrumMic'a by Sennheiser

Synths:
Crystal
FreeAlpha3
Tone2 Firebird
AaltoCM
Curve2CM
Kairatune
SynthmasterCM
ZebraCM
Reaktor Player
Kontakt Player
Zebralette
Podolski
Tyrell Nexus 6
TripleCheese
Alchemy Player
and a little bird has told me that Rapture is available in the new issue of Computer Music

Now for FX:

Compressor/Limiters:
BarricadeCM
ClipShifter
HoRNetFatFet (free with CM Magazine issue 190 I think)
IVGI
jsCompShaper
Supercharger (no longer free)
TDR Feedback Comp II
W1 Limiter
LoudMax
Molot
Limiter no.6
DCAMFreeComp
RoughRider
CamelCrusher
GVST bundle

EQ:
Kuassa BasiQ
DDMF CM EQ pack
Ignite Amps PTEq-1a
lkjb_Luftikus
Analog87 CM-EQUA

FX:
MFreeEffectsBundle (melda)
Azurite Chorus
Orange Chorus
WolframCM
EurydiceCM
lkjb_PitchedDelay
IMEA effects bundle (never heard of them but the bundle comes with Chorus, Compressor, Delay, Filter, Flanger, Limiter, Reverb and Overdrive.)
Voxengo OldSkoolVerb

Misc:
ADT (Auto Double Tracking)
EZMix Lite
Flux_BitterSweet
SkNote_Snap CM
Boz Digital Mono Bass (no longer free)
Lisp (Sleepytime Dsp)
SingleMault SE
SatsonCM

That should cover my bases
Now most of these I haven't even tried yet lol.
So I can say pretty much most of the comps/limiters/effects will get the fat trimmed after testing.

Never heard of this before - checked it out and the demos sound pretty damn good. Is the program in German only? That's what it looks like . .

IK Multimedias "Classic EQ" comes in 64bit and is free too (though you have to register on their site iirc). Modeled after a Calrec UA-8000 "Polar" console. Very creamy with nice shelfs and peaks. Lots of colour. I really fell in love with it since I used it on some of my synth sounds (bass, lead, pads etc). Even using two very narrow peaks together (eg if you try to notch out some corresponding resonating freqs) do sound awesome.

Regards
Sebastian
