Default Reaper Newbie Guide -A ReaBundle

In this article I present the newbie Reaper user with some essential links and tools to get started.

Content:
a) The Reaper essentials.
What you need and how to get started.
b) A ReaBundle.
Instruments and effects to make music (may be refereed to as G-Suns ReaBundle)
c) The Reaper add-ons.
Themes, control-surfaces and handy stuff.

You'll find the artickle here:
> A Reaper Newbie Guide <

It's not finished (may never be ),
but I believe it's quite usable.

You can share your comments, questions and what-not in this thread. Happy Reapering!

Some criteria for a vst to be part of the ReaBundle:

- Many users recommend it
- I have used it
- I like it
- It is free, donation-ware or excellent value for money
- It presents the newbie with some pro gear
- If demo, it should be very usable on it's own,
and present a nice upgrade path.
- It has something the other options presented don't have
- It's available for pc/mac and 32/64-bit
- As few download-places as possible
- As few user-registrations as possible

You may want to include drum core free for drums?

Drummix beta aka Bluenoise mydrumset is sort of a free/donationware, simple EZdrummer-like plugin. Usable thingie despite only few velocity layers (listen to the samples on the website below, I have an old tune made with it but it doesn't give it justice probably, all freeware made BTW).

You can also download the free edition of POD farm if you register on Line 6 site:

http://line6.com/software/index.html...ame=POD+Farm+2

It has Fender Deluxe Reverb (clean/crunch), Marshall JCM800 (high gain) and Ampeg SVT (bass) amp models plus handful of effects. The Ampeg model is my favouritest thing in entire universe (Fender's nice too).
