It seems like it's really ridiculously hard to find a good loop program for live use.
http://repetito.com/ http://loopyapp.com/ I'm looking for something like those, but I don't have an ios device and I'm not sure I want to spend $200 on repetito. Does anyone know of a good live looping solution? I'm also looking at a Boss RC-505 but I think $550 is pretty steep for something a computer should be able to do fairly easily. |

Ableton Live is pretty much the standard - I think they do a cut down/low cost edition.

This is actively being developed and is actually very simple, nice and stable.

If you're looking software for a computer (not phone/tablet) then Mobius is one of the most obvious choices.
