Default Pretty sure this is a bug

Escape key does not close the media explorer window here (file-close does only).

Does anyone know a workaround? It's much easier to just hit ESC than to move the mouse and have to use menu commands.

Is this still broken for everyone else too?

Does't work here as well... however, as there is a toggle command, assigning to a single key eg F1 will get you there.

But you cannot assign ESC as toggle in this case correct? I'd have to settle for F1 or whatever. Yes?

Thanks for helping!

Gotcha. I wonder if it'll ever get fixed! I would assume it's one of the easier bugs to fix, compared to all else ! Yikes :0

That's weird, I am on Reaper v5.11 and Esc does close my Media Explorer?

Yes, the ESC can close the window, or not... It depends on the current focus ATM.
Fixing...

Odd. I had the window focused, but it never works. I clicked all over the screen, focus changing. No difference.

Just an fyi.

It's working when clicking the waveform display (or the transport buttons) before. Doesn't work when explorer content has focus.

Nope. It doesn't matter where I have the focus in the ME, Esc is working flawlessly with me here.....

Note: I haven't docked the ME, maybe that is the difference?
