Default Minimum item loop-length MIDI editor vs Arrange view [PARTLY FIXED]

REAPER 5.20 x64

MIDI editor minimum item loop lenght is 1/4 note. Arrange does allow for shorter ones.

This can result in buggy MIDI display.

FIXED (5.26)

Has this bug been fixed sometime between v5.20 and v5.26? It seems that the MIDI editor in v5.26 allows loop lengths much smaller than 1/4 notes.

Confirmed. The display issue got fixed. But you still can't create <1/4 item/loop-lenght in the MIDI editor itself.

Perhaps I misunderstood the terminology: By "item/loop-length", are you referring to

1) the playback loop region inside an item (which can be linked to time selection), or

2) the length of (one iteration of) an item that is looped (by setting the item's properties to "loop source item" and then mouse-dragging the right edge of the item in the arrange view), or

3) something else?

EDIT: Ah, I see what the remaining part of the bug is all about: you are referring to option 2, and editing item length in the MIDI editor is indeed buggy when the item length is shorter than 1/4 note and the item properties is set to "loop item source".
