Default Waves Plugins in Multiple Project Tabs

Last week I tried to open up a second project tab and both projects had Waves plugins on them. The 2nd project had an error window popup with a lot of dialogue in it. I should have screen captured it but I didn't. Now, anytime I open the project that I tried to open on the 2nd tab, a few of the Waves plugins (but not all of them) show as offline/unavailable. These same plugins are working in other projects still. Anyone know how to fix this without reauthorizing through Waves Central? I suppoes I could try to open the backup rpp and see if that works. Is it possible to have multiple project tabs open with Waves plugins in them?

Reinstall sounds like a good idea. I'm pretty sure I've had multiple tabs open, both of which have Waves plugins, without any problem.

Didn't seem to work but I think I have isolated the problem to any Waves x86 plugin. I get a reaper_host32.exe crash upon loading any project with a 32 bit waves plug on it. Any ideas on how I can fix that? In one project I went through and replaced them all with 64bit version but I lost all of my settings. I don't want to have to do that with every project I'm currently working on. It was stupidity on my part. I should have used 64 bit to begin with.

If need be, feel free to move this post to a more appropriate area of the board, mods.

Probably a threading problem in the win32 library. (There's lots of them :-\)
Did you try going through and setting the win32 Waves plugs to Run As/Separate Process or Dedicated Process? This sometimes helps, but not always. It's the shared libs that get you.

No I haven't tried that. I assume that option is availible in the list by right-clicking on the x86 plugin? Last night I did open up one of the projects I had tried previously (after I shutdown my PC the night before) and didn't get any errors. Pretty odd...

Do you know if there is anyway to hide duplicate plugins that are x86 so I don't accidentally use them in the future?

Just remove them from the plugin path(s) that REAPER scans on startup.

If you want them still available for old projects, then not really.:-\

In your ProgramData - WavesAudio folder try creating and putting a blank txt file entitled "no_context_sharing.txt".

I had the same issue whenever I went over 32 uses of a waves plugin. This solved the issue.
