Hang when clicking on ruler with smooth seek on (FIXED)

Hey guys,

I'm getting crashes when clicking on the ruler (which is set to mouse modifier>default action>move edit cursor) with smooth seek enabled. With smooth seek off, there is no problem.

As well this occurs in 5.34, 5.4pre, but NOT in 5.32. Although it doesn't occur in an empty project in 5.34/5.4.

I'm am on osx 10.9.5, running reaper 64bit. A hang report is attached, cheers

edit: crash is NOT happening on 5.33rc2 (that was the latest 5.33 I could find)
