Default EDL import/export removed in Reaper 5.x?

Browsing manual a bit, and mention nothing other than import track template.

I was able to export full projects as EDL from Reaper and import in Samp in a nice way. Smooth as anything, even got midi clips with it(using external reference as file on disk).

And still no OMF/AAF exchange?

Thanks.

Here saving a project in EDL format and then opening it again in Reaper works. File/Save project as... Save as type: EDL (Samplitude) files (*.EDL). Can't say if it works to and from Samplitude though, I don't have it here.

No native OMF/AAF exchange.

Thank you.

I took a chance and installed on my old XP computer now and could see that Open and Save As had EDL still as file type.

I used Samp as intermediate, and exported OMF and then imported to Sonar and Cubase.

Good to know you don't need to start from scratch moving between daws.
