Do we need to update? I think I read somewhere that it would be included oin latest versions of REAPER... Or was I dreaming?

REAPER ships with 3.99.5 - should be updated by Cockos.

I don’t think any of the changes in 3.100 would affect REAPER’s use of LAME.
