Meta-Event on Exploded Audio File?
Hi All... can anyone help me with this? I did a 9 channel surround mix and it rendered as 1 multi-channel file as it does normally. Then I exploded the file into individual mono channels. In the past on this same kind of explode I get files that are named consecutively Channel 1 - Channel 9.
This time, I've been getting the 1st channel that is labeled as (meta-event), and then Channel 1 - 8... instead of 1 - 9. What does all this mean? Does everything shift down, or is the Meta-event actually my channel 9? Is this something that has changed somehow in a recent software update? |

Does anybody know what a Meta Event on an exploded track would be?

Hm, might be (curiously) related to exploding/importing MIDI type 0 files, which was fixed recently...

Probably just a track/item naming thing that slipped through schwa's fingers.

Maybe I'll go back to a previous version and test and see when it changed. |

OK this is correct:
Version reaper570_x86_64 does it correctly Version reaper576_x86_64 does not, and moves all of the channels down one. Meta Event should be channel 1 and go from there. |

Fixing, thanks for the report. The bug is just the naming of the exploded media items/tracks, the actual content is rendered correctly.

Doesn't seem to happen over here any longer.

Try the latest prerelease, looks like there were some leftovers from the bugfix (tracks renaming was fixed, but item renaming wasn't).
