Default ReaEQ sort bands

With ReaEQ, it is common that when creating new bands, they end up among other existing bands. The end result is that they are not sorted by frequency, which makes them uncomfortable to use. It would be good if there were a "sort bands" button (or right click menu item), so that they would be renumbered automatically.

Cheers and apologizes for my bad English!

ReaPack/mpl_Sort focused ReaEQ bands by frequency
Working under REAPER 5.81pre5+

The script uses slightly crazy chunk modding so TEST IT AT YOUR OWN RISK.
The complex part here is chunking since TCP controls, envelopes, learn, parameter linking and modulations are ID-based and all this stuff goes broken after changing parameters order...
What is supposed to work:
  • actually sorting (collecting stuff>>analyze/sort>>applying stuff) bands by frequency, seems working
  • modding (based on mapping old<>new parameter IDs) envelope chunks, at first sight works good also
  • modding (based on mapping old<>new parameter IDs) parameter modulations chunks, damn that was hard!
  • modding (parsing/building again based on mapping old<>new parameter IDs) MIDI learn, didnt really test, but from chunks looks good
  • modding (parsing/building again based on mapping old<>new parameter IDs) TCP controls, seems working also
  • modding (direct modding through all FX Chain chunk) linking across FX, no idea why it ever works lol

Oh, my gosh! Clearly, it is easier to make suggestions than to put them into reality!

Thank you!

Currently I think there might be a bug? The bandwidth seems to not be copied from old band to new band. Running REAPER 6 (also the first time I tried your script is with REAPER 6, maybe thats whats up?)

Sorry for late reply, I remember it was somehow related to "log scale frequency" check. Would you mind to test current version?
