Default Bug in glue with rate change (FIXED)

I had the rate set at 2x, glued some audio items and the items were playing very slow, as if at half speed. I had to change the rate back to 1x then glue, then change everything back to 2x. Seems there is a bug in there!

Hmm, when a project playrate is set and the option "Preserve pitch of audio items when changing playrate" is set, then yeah, it ends up pitch-adjusting the item, which is a undesired behavior. Is this what you're seeing or do you see another behavior under different circumstances?

No, that sounds about right. I don't remember the details but something like this:

1. I set the project play rate to a large value, say 3x.
2. Do work.
3. Glue some items.
4. play back,
5. Those glued items were running very slow(everything is suppose to be 3x but it was like running at 1/3(of 1x, not 3x, else I would have heard it as normal audio and not slowed down).
6. Undo
7. Set rate to 1, glue items, set back to 3x and continue on my business.

I do think I checked the rate of the items thinking maybe they would be set at some lower value than they should but I remember them being at 1... so I think the gluing actually was modifying the timing of the audio as if it was rendering it much slower than it should have.

Justin! Please pay attention to the timing error when gluing the WaveTune fx on takes. I already sent a bug report to support@cockos.com and here some about it https://forum.cockos.com/showpost.ph...45&postcount=2
