Media explorer freezes or/and crashes (FIXED)

Media explorer freezes or/and crashes when I click on a file with the mouse right click :

For, the crash, I have sent you the DMP file by email.

Also, when I press the keyboard down arrow, Media explorer freezes a little bit, but works well when I click on a file with the left click or when I type on one of the numeric pad keys.

Ah looks like that .dmp is 5.975rc1

It happens the same thing with 5975_x64. If you want I can make a dmp file with the last version.

Just to confirm -- you see the same (hang) in 5.974? Can you try 5.97?

Also, does it hang if you do the same thing while having no other plug-ins loaded (no VSTs)?

I see the same hang in 5.974 and 5.97. Same problem with 0 plug. My database is pretty big.

Thanks, got some performance improvements coming. In the mean time try using the filter box up top to reduce the visible item count to avoid this. Also— if you’re patient it will eventually finish (it’s not a hang exactly, just excruciatingly slow)
