6.0- Item volume's lowest value is -150db, not infinity (FIXED)
In Reaper 5.x, when turning down item volumes, it would go all the way down to "infinity," which implies that it's off and not sending out any audio. The tooltip would say "infinity db" when it was reached.
Currently in 6.0, the item itself it will say [-inf db], but the tooltip as you're changing the volume bottoms out at -150.00 db, so it's confusing to know when you've actually turned something all the way down. Possible to revert back to 5.x behavior? |

For all intents and purposes -150 dB is silence.
But yeah, it's probably just a text change gone awry. |

We will definitely fix this inconsistency, but it's worth noting that 5.x has the exact same behavior

if it was actually minus infinity there would be no way to add enough gain to bring it back up to audible levels.
hmm didn't I run into that with default send levels at -inf?

Hmm...am I have a berenstein bears moment? I move those little knobs hundreds of times a day and I could have sworn it landed on "-infinity" at the tool tip.
Ah well, thanks for looking at it. |
