Gluing midi items converts CC envelopes to old discrete format (FIXED)
This 100% happens when gluing pooled midi items, in this case first item is unaffected, but also happens randomly in other circumstances.

Looks like opened midi editor also affects it. Try with closed editor, this is how it works for me.

Same behavior with the editor closed. Are you able to save a very simple project that demonstrates the issue?

Ok, I found the cause. It's the option "Allow trim of MIDI items when splitting", it's says something about not working with pooled data, and when it's disabled the problem is no more.

Nope, still there and happens randomly. It's has nothing to do with pooling, too.
What I have found is if it happens, undo and repeat is the only way to reproduce it, so here is project file. I guess, the problem with specific CC shape, that's why it's so hard to reproduce. (Remember, glue with no opened editor) Last edited by dtr0q; 12-19-2019 at 12:44 PM. |
