Default TA Extended - dark and bright Theme Adjuster for v6

Here’s two alternative layouts for the Default 6.0 Theme Adjuster. They can be used with Reaper 6 and themes compatible with the new scripting features, dpi awareness etc.

It’s just a simple design approach and not using the associated icons from default theme. All settings, values, text and check boxes are color differentiated for a different peripheral experience. Under the Custom Colors tab some extra features for Selected Items are included. Apart from this all functions are same as the default version.

I made two editions:
  • TA_EXT_dark
  • TA_EXT_bright
Color Palettes:
Rv6 - SMOOTHIE - BEACH - ORBIT - FESTIVAL - LOUNGE - TRIPLET - GAMUT - FLOW1 - FLOW2

Install files here (zip 2Mb):
————————————————————————————
https://stash.reaper.fm/theme/2436/T...meAdjuster.zip
————————————————————————————

Installation:
  1. Place the un-zip'ed files inside system /Reaper resources..…/Scripts/Cockos/
  2. In Reaper, open Actions Window. In search field type ‘adjuster’, then use the Load button. Navigate to the above location and select script(s).
  3. Run one of the TA-EXT scripts. Alternatively create an action button or shortcut for each edition.
Note: Like Reaper 6, TA_EXT also uses MS Calibri regular as default font, it can be found here.

Setting up as default:
If one wishes to use this version over the Default 6 TA, it is possible to rename the default 6 original (or temporarily move it out of the folder). Then change the filename in one of the new TA_EXT .lua scripts to “Default_6.0_theme_adjuster.lua”. Reaper will then recognize this as the default theme adjuster.

The edited theme adjusters are available as is, meaning functions can be lost due to new Reaper features or changes to the parameter bindings. Part of the edited script include modifications done by @linkoboy with some tips from @WhiteTie -shoutout to you guys! Also thanks to @b0se for quick test-run.

Latest version available:
v1.02, testet with Reaper v6.08.
Version number is located under the Help section.

-- changelog:
-- v1.00 | initial release
-- v1.01 | cropped text in docked layout
-- v1.02 | updated script (reaper v6.08, default theme adjuster)

This looks great! Any more screen shots you can post? Especially tcp and mcp that have colors applied.

Hi, and thanks for the interest!
Everything is included with the zip, also a close-up if any doubt how fonts should look.

Of course the usability of colors will vary on different themes. I can only suggest to try them out yourself, see how it works ツ

Here's a short description of each palette (Click here for big size screenshots)

"TRIPLET", good for quickly organizing groups of content with a 'to-do' color

"LOUNGE", relaxed colors

"ORBIT", darkness with a few highlighted colors

"FLOW1" good for quick coloring, works great with a few tints from another palette

"FLOW2", same as above, with cool colors

"SMOOTHIE", from the 'Smooth 6' theme by @b0se, same palette

"SMOOTHIE+GAMUT", Track panel is using the Alt. Layout with extra strong colors

"FESTIVAL", !

"BEACH", bright colors, showed here with the theme: -= YuriOl Mix 6 Bright =-

"GAMUT", very intense, based on SMPTE calibration colors, white point = 235,235,235

Hi Andrei, I'm sorry for the inconvenience. It may be something with the included folder names.
I did it another way now and uploaded a new zip. Can I ask you to try dl again, and test if any better. Thanks.
