Default Lighting with SYSEX

Hi. I am a lighting designer and I use Reaper to fire light cues on my rig with midi sysex messages.
I'll have a track of music and place a sysex message everywhere I want the lighting look to change (I program the looks on the lighting desk that receives the midi messages).
It is a rather time consuming process and I was wondering if someone could guide me into automating it somewhat.
Right now I have to click in the midi control track that has sysex selected which brings up a dialog box that I type a long message into (EX: F0 7F 01 02 01 01 31 32 2E 35 00 31 F7). Most of that message is always the same, it just tells the light desk to GO CUE whatever.
I can't find sysex in the actions list to try to build a macro from and I'd like to be able to have certain parts of the message already loaded and or simplified.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Hmm, we could add a dropdown that lists previously used messages.

I have limited experience with scripts, but could they be used to create an insert button that asked for just the part that changes?

A script could definitely do almost anything you want in this regard. The next REAPER build will add this:
