6.12c Pre-fader metering not working
Hi,
When starting a new project, pre-fader metering does not seem to be working anymore (keeps post-fader behaviour). Just add any track with midi or audio, set pre-fader metering, play the track, drag the fader down and notice how the meter output goes down with it. Video that demonstrates the issue: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lJ8B8s8cz4I Pre-fader metering does still work with old projects. Best regards, H. I'm not sure that this has changed recently, but that track is record armed which is causing it to appear that way.
Normally if an audio input is selected, the meter always shows the input levels, but when a MIDI input is selected it will show the post-fader output. The consistent behavior would probably be to respect the pre-fader metering option unless the track is set to record output. |

Okay, that explains it then. I wasn't aware that record arm made a difference Thanks.
