Closing script window should not run script... (FIXED)
This is probably by design, maybe a simple oversight...
If I edit a script, and then click the x at the top right corner of the script editor, I get asked if I want to save the script before closing. Thank you, this is the nice thing to do. Surprisingly though, clicking OK to save runs the script! This is unexpected, and prone to mishaps. If I had wanted to run the script, I would have clicked Start or hit Ctrl+S. I clicked the x explicitly because I did not want to run it, just save the edits. In my case those final edits are typically removing comments and debug code. There is no reason to run the script, just save it, please. Reaper v6.14/x64 W7x64

Yes, this isn't very useful and should be changed imho.
As a little workaround, you can hit Ctrl+Shift+S to save the script without running before closing it via the x-button.

Yeah I agree, fixing!
Also: as a workaround, hold shift when choosing "Yes" to save and it won't run it... |
