Can't see media cues?
Hi, I am importing my WAVs (recorded in Tascam Model 12, multitrack) that had markers added during the recording. However, Reaper only shows one media cue, at the beginning of the file, and none others are there.
When I tried Adobe Audition I could see all the markers/cues as dotted lines throughout the file. Is there anything I can do in Reaper to see all those media cues? Thanks! |

What happens if you right-click on one of the media items in a track, go to Item Processing, and choose Import media cues from items as project markers?

Can you share an example file?

I attach two screenshots, the same WAV file: - in Reaper - in Audition where you can see dotted vertical lines where the cues are |

You can zip and attach it, or host it somewhere and link to it, or just email it to support at cockos.

For what it's worth, this feature does work with files recorded on a Sound Devices MixPre-series recorder; I tested it today. All markers appear in Reaper, and you can turn them into numbered project markers by right-clicking on a media item on a track and choosing Item Processing > import media cues from items as project markers.
It may be that the Tascam writes these markers to metadata differently and Reaper isn't picking them up. |

Thanks for sending the file. The file format is very slightly unusual, but easy enough to add handling for. The next build of REAPER will be able to read these cues.
