Default Automation not writing OSC Mute command (FIXED)

Steps to reproduce:
Create a new project
Create new tracks (any number)
Connect any OSC device
Enable Automation tracking on channel properties (such as volume and mute)
Confirm OSC commands from device are working in Automation Read mode
Confirm OSC commands from Reaper are respected by device when manually programmed in Reaper

Enter OSC Write mode
Start recording
Confirm that OSC records from commands entered on Reaper
Stop recording and check

Start recording
Confirm that OSC commands from device (such as volume) are recorded on Reaper
Stop recording and check

Mute actions are not recorded

Expected Behaviour:
Mute automation recorded correctly

Messages:
None. Reaper continues to perform as usual and ignores the Mute command sent via OSC.

Platform:
Test on Windows 7, Windows 10, MacOS 10.x, MacOS 11.1

Version:
Reaper 5.x, 6.x (all versions affected)

Default [BUG] : Automation not writing OSC Mute command

Has this bug been added to the fix queue? I notice another release without it being addressed?

Thanks.

v6.23 released - has this been addressed now? Can't see it in the changelog?

the default OSC mute command seems to work fine. What actual string is your device sending? Are you using Default.ReaperOSC or some other configuration?

Thanks for the reply. I notice that you’re not doing that with automation “Write” enabled. It works perfectly in automation play but not in any write mode.

You also need to have the automation path “Mute” envelope enabled.

Should have been fixed in 6.23+dev0212 and later prerelease builds, if you'd care to try it out: https://forum.cockos.com/forumdisplay.php?f=37

A M A Z I N G ! ! ! !

Thank you! As soon as the next release is out I'll be buying a license!!!

You have made my year!

Just tested it on the "software" emulator of the X32 with X32Reaper. Works as expected. Thank you!
