6.20: Offline rendered files are 1 sample too short (FIXED)
I just updated to 6.20 and now my offline renders are 1 sample too short. Even a simple project with 2 tracks and no plugins does this, so it's not plugin or PDC related (as I first suspected). This is at 44.1 kHz and full-speed offline rendering. 1x offline and online renders are not affected.
That 1 sample is missing at the end. Tested on a project rendered from 6.19 and 6.20 and they null perfectly (apart from the missing sample in the 6.20 render, obviously).

Sorry, I'm not able to reproduce this. Rendering N seconds of audio results in a file with N*samplerate*channels samples. Are you rendering an entire project, or a time selection, or media items, or... ?

Just tested with a project with one WAV file on one track, no plugins. Rendering the master mix and tested with rendering the entire project, one region, time selection, and also selected media item via master. All of them are 1 sample too short on offline render.
Then again, rendering selected media item NOT via master, and it's the correct length.

Okay, further testing. This time with a simple WAV file of a 1kHz sine wave one second in length. Dragged it out to 20 seconds length and rendered the project and it's the correct length. Dragged it out to 5 minutes length and there's one sample missing.
So apparently the project length has something to do with this. My previous test project's length is 5:16
Now all that needs to be found out is at which length that 1 sample drop starts happening.

One more update. At 34.5 seconds the project renders to the correct length, and at 35 seconds there's 1 sample missing. So, somewhere in that half second window the sample drop starts happening. I hope that's fine grained enough for you to find out what's going on here.
And as said, this is when rendering the master mix.

OK, I can confirm that, thank you for the detailed report. We should be able to put out a fix for this shortly.
