When I code, I indent as most people. This is easy by selecting lines and hitting Tab which adds two spaces to each line.
Now sometimes, I come to the conclusion, that I need to remove a loop as I realized, I don't need it. So I remove the loop but the lines that were in the loop are still intended as if the loop was there. So I would like to select these lines, hit ctrl+Tab to remove two spaces in the beginning of each line, so the indentation is aligned correctly. This would be awesome. Currently I need to remove them by hand line by line.

So... in the usual Reaper way, some way to set the keystroke for this would be great.

Shift+Tab is already implemented in the IDE:

Oh... how embarrassing
![]() But as trange thing... it requires a selection. Hitting Tab and then Shift+Tab does not unindent. First some selection has to be made on the line for Shift+Tab to unindent. This is confusing. So the request has now changed to have Shift+Tab to also work on a single line with no selection. Specifically, if I hit Tab, and then immediately do Shift+Tab, I should get back to how it was before hitting Tab.
