Default AI (automation items) make Reaper stuck/unresponsive (Linux i686 only) [FIXED]

I created a project with automation items (to mute tracks and also switch patterns of seq etc.) in Ubuntu 21 x64.
Now, loading this project in i686 version of Reaper in Lubuntu 17 (32bit) and also in Linux Lite 3.8 (32bit) freezes Reaper immediately.

Loading the same project in Windows 32bit version is OK. I tried to resave in Win32 and load again in 32bit Linux, but it makes no difference. Trying more, in Win32 I removed almost all tracks except one and saved it as project. This one loads in Linux 32bit, but as soon as the playhead crosses the exact AI item it freezes again. Reaper is unresponsive and only way is to force kill it.

Here is the file to test (and it is the second AI, = region 1 where it happens)

EDIT (20210907): The bug is fixed in v6.36+dev0907

in Linux:
Audio system = ALSA
Samplerate = 48kHz
Audiobuffer = 128 samples
Periods = 12

in Windows:
Audio system = WASAPI Exclusive
Samplerate = 48kHz
Block size = 128 samples

Edit: duplicated, thanks! Appears to be a compiler bug, ouch. Working around it...

Thanks for looking into it.
I just tried new v6.36+dev0905 i686 (in 32bit Lubuntu 17) an now the minimal test project plays OK.
The original full project file (that was impossible to load at all before) is now loading OK.
But, when playing back that full project, which contains many AIs on more tracks, the Reaper is still freezing when play cursor reaches some AIs.

Note: I tried to load the file, select all items and right-click: remove AIs while keeping automation points and the freezing is gone, project plays OK = definitely something in AIs versus standard automation.

I will send you the wip project file in PM.

EDIT: PM already sent.

Tested the new v6.36+dev0907 release right now (in that Lubuntu 17.10, 32bit) and the project loads OK and also plays OK.
Thank you, Justin.
