EDIT: The devs have provided a fix for this which works great. Thanks a lot!
I've been trying to use subprojects as a workaround for this issue:
https://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=239618 (losing edits after copying track to different project)
but the same problem persists. The subproject route works great as long as the project tabs are open but as soon as I close the subproject or quit REAPER the ARA analysis is re-triggered when I re-open and the edits are gone.
I've attached a 1-track, 1-item project to help reproduce the issue with the following steps:
1. Move track to subproject
2. Check subproject: edit preserved
3. Quit REAPER
4. Open project, double-click on proxy, open Melodyne: edit lost
I'd be happy to manually copy lines of "code" between project files in an IDE but couldn't find a solution doing so.
