Default If render is cancelled files are not released...

I just now canceled stem rendering as I realized I had limiting on, and it should be off.

To my surprise, I cannot delete all the rendered files, and Reaper itself cannot overwrite them when I uncheck the "Silently increment..." option.

So now I am stuck with those files, two of which are zero size. Of course, closing Reaper releases the files, but this is annoying, if not worse...

Reaper v6.43, W7x64.

Having trouble reproducing this, can you give us a project that's configured in such a way that it does it?

I can replicate it like this:
1. Stem rendering, project region
2. Brickwall limit on
3. Cancel while Reaper is doing the limiting

Now I get 5 files, each 0 kb, none of which I can delete from Windows Explorer. Also, if I try to do the rendering again with brickwall limit off, and Silently increment off, Reaper asks to overwrite, and then just stalls.

The rpp is here https://chalmersuniversity.box.com/s...jmammj8t99.rpp
