Batch conversion corrupted files (FIXED)
Since the last update: when I use the Batch convertor it works much faster, but the files come out corrupted, mainly as pitched noise. It sounds like a digital clock error.
How can I fix this? (restarting and such didn't help). I read in the changelog that a lot of changes have been made in the Batch Convertor ... Well, with me it is a problem.

Are you referring to the 6.50 update posted today?
Could you please give us a link to a source file, the converted file, and a screenshot of the settings you are using?

Also, if you are converting using FX please let us know what the FX are. It is possible that a non-threadsafe (buggy) FX could cause a problem when converting multiple files at once.

yes, it is the 6,50 update.
here is a source file: www.fraknoise.nl/batchproblem/viscount01.wav
a converted file: www.fraknoise.nl/batchproblem/59.wav
screenshot of settings: www.fraknoise.nl/batchproblem/settings.PNG
No fx used. It used to work just fine, and fast.
When I do just one with the Batch convertor, it also seems to work. But I need to do a lot in one go for a sample library.

Thanks for the files. You have normalization and/or limiting enabled, can you give us a screenshot of those settings as well please?

I cannot make a screenshot of that, unfortunatly. But these are the settings:
normalize to LUFS-1 -20 dB
Brickwall limit PEAK -2 dB
These settings used to work just fine.
Kind regards

... also, are these imported from files (dragged in or imported from windows), or imported from media items in REAPER?

I don't understand this question. The original file is recorded in Reaper. Then I split the file into the seperate note numbers, and these are then batch converted into single wav files (to be converted later to RAW).
Have been working like that for the past half year or so.
Now I understand ... Imported from selected media items in Reaper.

OK, thanks very much for the report and the info. There is indeed a bug when converting multiple media items at once. The bug doesn't affect converting files that are imported directly from the filesystem, or converting one media item at a time. We'll fix this right away.

Breaking the rules a bit by discussing this outside the prerelease forum but since this is a hotfix would you mind testing out the 6.51rc build?

I was not in the studio for a day or so, I didn't see this message. I also thought it would take some time, so i decided to do some other things. Sorry.
But the 6.51 version works great(from the normal download page), I 'tested' it, it seems very fast en the sounds come out right. Thank you very much!
