When the video window is open and you are doing a time selection it is able to show the relevant frame, i.e. it seeks to the video position at the selection edge, while you are still doing the selection, and shows the frame on which the selection will land when you let go of the mouse button.
However, when doing a razor selection - even when it is done on a video item itself - the video window doesn't seek, and you don't see the frame on which the selection edge lands. Having this as an option, always seeking video when selecting in this manner, not just when doing a time selection, would be very nice for us doing to-picture work and edits and so forth ![]() |
