Can't see active takes on muted tracks after v6.54 update

With the new dimming system on muted tracks and such, once a track is muted I can't see which take is activated, they all become the same dimmed color.
If I click on an item in a muted track, all of the takes become highlighted, however it still changes the active take based on which take I clicked on.
So I can potentially change takes without getting any visual feedback, which is bad of course.

Is that a bug I should report or is something isn't setup correctly on my system?
