Default WMF decoder green screen issue

When using the WMF decoder, I don't see the video properly. Switching to the VLC decoder seems to fix it.

Can you share a link to the source video? (We need to know the specifics of the source media that the decoder is failing on.)

Hmm, thanks. Internally, the file opens correctly and the decoder reports that everything is fine, it just doesn't decode any frames. I notice that Windows Media Player fails similarly, with no apparent error except that the frames are blank, which suggests the problem is on the Windows side, not REAPER.

We'll look to see if there is some way we can detect files that fail in this way and fall back to a different decoder.
