![]() Would be nice if this reflected the change immediately. Also, pretty please, it would be so wonderful to show some indication that CC data is being recorded in the MIDI item -- right now it only appears after recording (and then only if the CC lane is visible in the ME). Some kind of shadow or line or anything that says "got something" would be reassuring.

This would be really helpful. Arrange view automation has the option to automatically show envelopes when tweaking FX parameters but theres nothing equivalent for setting cc lanes in the midi editor.
I wonder if there's a reason CCs only get shown after recording (and don't update on the arrange view items). A little visual feedback here would go a long way.

fixing the refresh issue, and making it use the "combined CC" view when recording new MIDI items (as it is now it obeys the midi cc peaks preference which is probably not desired for new MIDI items)

Awesome, thanks Justin!
I didn't realise the 'One lane combining all CC data' option in peaks settings displays all active CC data (not just those CC lanes set in the Midi Editor) but just tried it and it works well! Forcing that when recording is clever and should provide the visual feedback for new items (in lieu of an option to display all active CCs).
