If there're identically named user and built-in presets the function treats the preset with the greater index as one with the smaller index and skips all entries following the preset with the greater index.
In this animation there're two presets named Analysis: Histogram (RGB). When the built-in preset is selected and displayed in the UI the one which is selected in the preset list when it's opened is the user preset, and therefore after the preset with the greater index the incrementation doesn't continue being looped around to the identically named preset with the smaller index instead. (TrackFX_GetPresetIndex() is also affected by the problem only returning index of the preset earlier in the list even if the later one is selected) ![]()

Thank you. Maybe the easiest solution would be to disallow indentically named presets across sections.
