I always have reaper set to not use cpu when stopped.
The problem with this is that if the track is not armed then some vsts act very badly. Kontakt is an example of this and seems to not load up samples very fast at all or crashing unless the track is armed or reaper is playing. Is there a way we could have an option so that if the vst was showing its GUI, reaper could treat the effect as if it was armed or playing so it has access to cpu? ![]() Thanks!

bumping this as if this was a thing it would mean I didn't have to concisely arm tracks when loading them which if I don't, some plugins don't load properly.
