Default Bad performance with a split media item with many take markers embedded (FIXED)

Hey!

I noticed that there is a performance issue when you have a media item with many take markers embedded and you split it many times across the timeline.
With some certain horizontal zoom, the lag is visible as you have a lot of those media items appearing on the screen, even though there aren't many take markers showing on the screen. If you use Item: Delete all take markers on them, the lag doesn't happen anymore.

Here's a video demonstrating this:

RPP Project: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1wWh...usp=share_link (just leave file as offline)

I hope that helps, thanks!

There is some code that looks at offscreen take markers in order to keep the marker vertical positions stable when editing the item edges. But this may be a bad tradeoff, we'll look at some ways to improve it.

Original author didnt mentionned it but I made a free script for him so he can continue to work without lags:
  • X-Raym_Delete take markers outside of selected items boundaries.lua

It also help keep project file small.
