6.72 bug with autogrouped items and Trim contents behind (FIXED)
Trying out the new item grouping by track selection feature and it seems to cause an issue when trim contents behind media items is enabled and an item is trimmed to consume other items. The touched item works correctly, and the grouped items overlap or leave tiny slices behind.
This behavior is "intended", in that the code is working as designed. When editing an item edge, the edit "picks up" any items on grouped tracks with edges that align, even if those items were not lined up to begin with.
But your screencap shows that when this behavior is not desired, it's really confusing and looks wrong. So we'll try reverting it for the next development build.
